Isaac Ross

Certified Personal Trainer

I’ve been involved in fitness and health from a very early age, starting with playing organized football, wrestling, and rugby. While playing sports I suffered some injuries including ones on my back and shoulder and a fractured elbow. I had the mentality of whatever it takes to get back on the field and pushed through them doing more harm to my body. Once I was done sports and had lost my motivation to be healthy these past injuries started to affect me more and linger because I never fully let them heal. Due to them lingering they also became an excuse for not trying to get back into shape with them acting up any time I tried. I have learned from these mistakes and have worked to ensure they will no longer limit me. I have a diploma in Rec & leisure, and from there I felt like I was one step away from what I actually enjoyed, which is working one on one with people and seeing the impact of my work with them on a daily basis. Keeping this in mind, I got my certification with NASM where I became more well-rounded in my fitness knowledge in areas such as flexibility, balance and SAQ / plyometrics. I use the OPT model (Optimum Performance Training) to create programs that focus on a holistic approach to your goals, to ensure that you improve in all areas of your health.
